Bitcoin Holding Sweden AB (the “Company”) today announces that during the period August 29 to September 2, 2025, the Company acquired a total of 0.20836353 bitcoin. The Company’s total holdings now amount to ₿ 2.19299249.
The Company’s business plan, established upon its formation in December 2024, targeted bitcoin purchases of SEK 2 million during the first year and SEK 1 million annually for the following 20 years. Upon its formation, the Company became Sweden’s first Bitcoin treasury company. The plan was based on the Company’s analysis and forecast of an average annual increase in the price of bitcoin of at least 29%, with the objective of building a bitcoin treasury valued at approximately SEK 1 billion by 2044–2045, based on a total invested capital of SEK 22 million.
After eight months, the Company has now invested a total of SEK 2,373,720.00 in bitcoin, thereby surpassing its first-year target. Due to significant market interest, the original plan has evolved more rapidly than anticipated, and the Company is now preparing to become a public limited company with the objective of pursuing a future listing.
Within the next four weeks, the Company plans to resolve to:
- convert to a public limited company (publ),
- increase the number of board members,
- appoint an auditor,
- adjust the minimum and maximum limits for number of shares and share capital,
- execute a 10-for-1 split of the B-share, and
- authorize the board to decide on future share issues.

Bitcoin Holding Sweden AB (”Bolaget”) meddelar idag att Bolaget under perioden 29 augusti till 2 september 2025 har förvärvat totalt 0,20836353 bitcoin. Bolagets totala innehav uppgår nu till ₿ 2,19299249.
Bolagets affärsplan, som fastställdes vid bildandet i december 2024, hade som mål att genomföra bitcoinköp för 2 miljoner SEK under det första året och därefter 1 miljon SEK årligen under de följande 20 åren. Vid bildandet blev Bolaget Sveriges första dedikerade Bitcoin Treasury-bolag.
Planen grundades på Bolagets analys och prognos om en genomsnittlig årlig prisökning för bitcoin på minst 29 %, med målet att bygga ett bitcoininnehav värt cirka 1 miljard SEK till år 2044–2045, baserat på ett totalt investerat kapital om 22 miljoner SEK.
Efter åtta månader har Bolaget nu investerat totalt 2 373 720 SEK i bitcoin och har därmed överträffat sitt mål för det första året. På grund av det stora marknadsintresset har den ursprungliga planen utvecklats snabbare än förväntat, och Bolaget förbereder nu en omvandling till publikt aktiebolag med målsättningen att på sikt genomföra en börsnotering.
Inom de kommande fyra veckorna planerar Bolaget att fatta beslut om att:

omvandlas till publikt aktiebolag (publ),

utöka antalet styrelseledamöter,

utse revisor,

justera minimi- och maxgränserna för aktiekapital och antal aktier,

genomföra en 10-för-1-split av B-aktien, samt

bemyndiga styrelsen att besluta om framtida nyemissioner.
